This term in our English lessons, we will be exploring two exciting topics. Our first focus is on writing to inform, where we will learn how to craft engaging non-chronological reports. To inspire and support our writing, we will be using two fantastic books: The World of the Unknown: Monsters and The Book of Mythical Beasts and Magical Creatures.
Our second topic centers on writing to entertain. For this, we will delve into scene descriptions inspired by the wonderful story Cloud Tea Monkeys.
These engaging activities will help us develop our writing skills in both informative and imaginative ways!
In our science lessons, we are exploring the topic of mixtures and separation. We will carry out experiments to discover different methods used to separate mixtures, such as filtering, evaporation, and sieving. Additionally, we will learn to identify substances that are mixtures or solutions. This will help us understand how different materials can be combined or separated in everyday life.
