Term 2
Term 2 is an exciting and fun term for Year 4. Our History Topic of The Romans will be brought to life during our trip to The Roman Baths. Here we will be able to experience what it was like to be a Roman. The Christmas period is always exciting with the KS2 Christmas Pantomime and Decoration Making.
We had a great trip to the Roman Baths. Some of the children really enjoyed sampling the hot spring water whereas some children thought it was disgusting! Mells class loved being archaeologists in the learning centre and digging for artefacts as well as being engineers and constructing archway and bridges just like the Romans. They learned that Roman's thought there was a God under the hot springs and that Roman's had an interesting Legend who used the Baths to cure his leprosy!
