Huntspill Class 2019-2020
Year 6 - Miss D
Well done to everyone for completing lots of home learning tasks in the last two weeks. We have all been really impressed with your good effort.
Over the Easter holidays you will get given five fun activity suggestions each week.
I'd love to know how you get on and if you'd like to share some of your activities, please send them to me via messages on the VLE and I'll get back to you after the holidays.
Have a lovely Easter break!
Have a go at making a paper horse that can move.
Create an Easter Egg Hunt for your family. Use the clues above to hide chocolates or handmade paper eggs according to the clues. You may want to copy these, or write your own.
Why not ask a grown up at home if it's okay to download the programming program we have been using in computer lessons for free? Why not create a game, or a moving picture? (I haven't added the link as the grown ups at home will need to decide if they can download it).
- What is full of holes but still hold water?
- How many letters are there in the English alphabet?
- What becomes wetter the more it dries?
- What answer can you never answer yes to?
- When things go wrong what can you always count on?
- What is always in front of you but can’t be seen?
- What’s black and white and blue?
- Where can you find cities, towns, shops and streets but no people?
- What has a neck but no head?
- What word is spelt wrong in the dictionary?
Have a go at these Riddles. I will post the answers in the second week of the holiday.
This poem, along with many others, are being sent around on social media. Write your own poem on the current situation. I'd love to see your poems on the VLE :)
